I am a twenty year old student who attends Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. I am currently a junior seeking a major in marketing and minors in communications and management. I love journalism though and I work for the student paper,
The Behrend Beacon, as a managing editor and was the sports editor from freshman year until this year. I try to stay active as much as possible on campus and during the fall and spring I play varsity golf and during the winter I play club ice hockey for Behrend. I also work part-time at the dinning hall as the student manager of the catering department. All-in-all I stay pretty busy, but I enjoy it. I have many other hobbies though, basically all outdoor related which spawned from Boy Scouts. I recently bought a kayak last year and take that out as much as I can. I mountain bike casually as well and love to backpack (as my posts will show). During the winter I try to stay active through skiing. However, when I am not doing those things I usually read and hang out with my friends listening to music and eating. My family is amazing. I have a sister who will be attending Penn State next fall and my two parents live together in Greensburg with a golden doodle named Bentley and a bearded collie named Barnaby (even though he does not look like a traditional beardy, we love him just the same). They also have two cats and a fish which keeps the house hectic to say the least. Please feel free to email me about doing a hike, bike, write a post, round of golf, etc. whatever it may be. I keep an open mind to everybody and everything and try to limit judging as much as possible. We live in a corrupt enough world, why make it worse by not getting along with each other right?
